I'm a clinical psychologist and a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Catania, where I work on the SAMOTHRACE project and am a member of IPLab. I recently completed a research visit at EPFL, under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Cavallaro at the MINTS Lab.

I'm interested in autoregressive and diffusion language models, AI agents, and the interlink between these systems and psychology, mental health, and human safety.

Before starting my PhD, I trained in psychology, earning a bachelor's degree in Psychological Science from the University of Sassari and a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Catania.

Outside research, I also enjoy photography and gaming.
